faq.jpgVintage or Antique - The standard qualification of an antique is that it must be at least 100 years old.  To be considered "Vintage", the standard qualification is 50 years old.  Vintage furniture is extremely popular and collectable today.
Estimates - When we initially inspect a piece for an estimate we check it for structural integrity, missing pieces, veneer problems, shrinkage, leveling, water damage, mildew or sun damage, properly working doors and drawers and keys and locks.  Estimates are based on the time requires to restore and conserve each piece.
Your Place or Mine - Most polishing, repairs and maintenance can be done on site.  This "in home" service allows us to conserve and stabilize furniture without any of the additional stress of transit.  Refinishing, however, must be done at our shop.
Furniture Care - Dust furniture with a soft cloth, avoid silicone-based sprays of any kind!
